CHESTERFIELD, Mich. – Turbo Bowling Accessories announced Wednesday that JoAnne Cieslak will retire at the end of 2021.

Cieslak, who currently holds the position of Global Service Manager, has spent 15 years with the brand and is the first employee in the company’s 30-year history to retire or end their professional career with Turbo.

“JoAnne has been a tremendous asset to our team and an instrumental part of our growth over the past 15 years,” said Turbo Marketing Director Lori Mraz. “Her commitment and sweet charm made her an instant favorite with many of our loyal customers and fans. You simply can’t teach that. We thank her and applaud her for a job well done. She will be missed by many.”

Cieslak managed sales and support of Turbo’s largest domestic territory, consisting of pro shops and distributors in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. She also was primarily responsible for the managing of export orders and servicing accounts for all global distributors and pro shops.
Cieslak has been mentoring new team member Perry Crowell, who will assume her role full-time, effective Jan. 2, 2022.

“For the last 15 years, I’ve been able to work with, and meet, some of the most wonderful people, literally in the world,” Cieslak said. “From working the Turbo booth at Bowl Expo to the regional shows in the Midwest and East Coast, the pro shop operators and their families have been a highlight of my time at Turbo.

“It was more than a job to me, it was a part of who I am. Being there to help them, whether it was with orders or just being there to listen if they were having a bad day, I want them to know it meant something to me. And, to my Turbo work family, you all mean the world to me.”
