Level Up

The  goal of the program was  to help educate and inspire JV bowlers in our local Metro Detroit community. Many high school bowlers are not sure if bowling is something they would pursue after just a year or two in high school. We wanted to make sure Junior students had a fair shot at potentially bowling in high school and perhaps on into college.

Enrollment in the program was a special application process through Google. Information on the program was made available through our social media channels. Of the 30 applications received, ten students were selected based on a subjective criteria of who we felt could benefit the most. Each student was offered a short lesson and a slightly used, properly fit bowling ball.

Three stations were set up within the Turbo Tech training center. Upon arrival, each student was greeted by one of our coaches and then immediately fit for their new ball. All balls were drilled on site. While balls were being drilled, each student warmed up on the lanes with one of our coaches with the equipment they had brought. Upon completion of new ball drilling, each student received a short lesson with focus on answering questions and exploring potential.
