CREATING A CUSTOM THUMB.
Think of Custom Thumb as a copy machine for thumb holes. Custom Thumb is a unique molding process that captures the exact shape and size of any thumb hole including the shape of the beveled edge. Each mold is as individual as your thumbprint. Check out this simple step by step video to create a thumb mold. Find Custom Thumb through your local distributor. Starter Kit includes 1 ea. Silicone Mixture Part A & B (8 oz. each, creates 8 custom thumb molds), 3 Custom Thumb cylinders 1 1/8”, 1 ¼”, 1 3/8”, mold release, clay, mixing cups, stir sticks along with (2) 8 oz. bottles of White Urethane Material; 1 ea. Hardener and Resin.

The Switch Pitch Measuring Ball is designed to find the pitch of an Outer Sleeve on existing equipment when specs of a bowler are unknown. Helps eliminate guess work and gives a starting point to install a new Outer Sleeve that will match up to existing equipment. Includes 8# Ball with (12) 1 ½” holes drilled from 0 – ½”, ball cup and modified Outer Sleeve.

Vacuum Grip Drill Technique

- Use 1 1/32″ drill bit. Hole should be 1/16″ larger than the recommended insert o.d.
- Drill hole 1″ deep.
- Replace 1 1/32″ drill bit with 31/32″ or recommended insert outside diameter (for stronger vacuum use smaller drill bit i.e. 61/64 for standard outside diameter insert)
- Drill hole the full depth of insert (Turbo multi-function inserts 1 3/4″)
- You have now created a multi-tier at the bottom of the hole.
- Install finger insert. Glue bottom of grip into smaller hole. When creating a vacuum grip you must use at least 2 sizes smaller than standard fingertip size. Grip will expand to fit inside hole diameter.
- Apply adhesive (Turbo Zip Plus-45 recommended) to the front of hole, between finger insert and bowling ball. ONLY apply glue to the front wall.
