Carolyn Dorin-Ballard Joins Turbo Pro Staff

Women's super-star Carolyn Dorin-Ballard is the newest member of the Turbo 2-N-1 Grips Professional Staff, and will represent the company in the upcoming USBC Masters and the four-week Professional Bowlers Association Women's Tour Series, which begins October 31.

Dorin-Ballard was one of the winningest bowlers on the Professional Women's Bowling Association tour for more than a decade before the tour ceased operation in 2003. She amassed 20 pro titles, including 3 majors, and was named Bowler of the Year in 2001 when she won a record 7 titles, and again in 2003. She recently finished in the top 4 in the prestigious USBC Women's US Open televised live on ESPN.

A former collegiate All-American at West Texas A&M University where she earned a degree in communications, Dorin-Ballard is one of the busiest bowlers in the world both on and off the lanes. In addition to competing in numerous women's and men's events, she is a member of the USBC Board of Directors and serves as their official spokesperson for High School Bowling.

She is also the High School spokesperson for Dexter Bowling Shoes, is a member of the Brunswick pro teaching staff, and serves as the director for the Bowling Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to fundraising and education for youth bowling. The Bowling Proprietors Association of America manages the Bowling Foundation.
